SESSION: The Woken Trees

Six piece The Woken Trees formed 2010 in their hometown of Tversted (North Jutland, Denmark) as a group of childhood friends, they soon relocated to Copenhagen where they took over an abandoned house outside the city to rehearse and develop their sound.
The debut album “NNON” was written in 2011/2012 and recorded in late spring 2012. In the summer 2012 the band signed with Pad & Pen Records and the mixing and mastering began. October 2012, the single Yells B/W Holy Water was released which is now followed up by the full album co-released by Fuzz Club Records and Pad & Pen Records in March 2013.
The band will be playing this years Roskilde Festival on the Pavilion Junior Stage 17:30 on 03.07.2013

SESSION: Ice Cream Cathedral

Space pop trio Ice Cream Cathedral formed in 2010 after meeting at the music conservatory in Copenhagen. In the summer of 2012 Anja Lahrmann (vocals, guitar, synth), Anders Bach (drums/synth kor) and Kristian Paulsen (guitar/synth) drove to a secluded cabin in the Swedish woods to record their debut album, the outcome, critically acclaimed record The Drowsy Kingdom. Producer Paul Gold (LCD Sound System, Animal Collective etc) mastered the album and although glimpses of these bands can be heard in the bands sound it goes so much deeper than that, but its a starting point for you to get lost in their sound.
The band will be playing this years Roskilde Festival on the Pavilion Junior Stage 14:30 on 30.06.2013
