SESSION: Ghost Venue

in Sessions by

“Soothing samples with modern beats & smashing synths” is how Copenhagen based electronic act Ghost Venue (Theodor Storm Kristensen/Benjamin Fischermann) describe themselves, mixing from genres such as soul, RnB, jazz, hip hop, funk, a range of world music and mashes them together with youthful force comparable to acts like DJ Shadow, RJD2, Blockhead etc. Debut albumLooking Back On Broken Pieces’ was released in the latter part of 2012 (and is available as a free download HERE!)

They stormed the Apollo stage at Roskilde Festival in the warm up days to a packed crowd, now you can reminisce that Wednesday evening as the sun is setting across festival grounds as the sounds of Ghost Venue are drifting across Dream City.
