Straight out of a Donnie Darko lucid dream come the bunnie mask wearing project of Brian Batz. Inspired by the works of Boards of Canada, David Lynch, Erik Satie and some classic movie soundtacks, Batz found the sound through an old battered piano coupled with a freaky electronic alteration of his recorded voice creating on eerie hypnotic sound. Sleep Party People released their self titled debut album on Speed Of Sound in 2010 and have more recently released their follow up ‘We Were Drifting On A Sad Song’ this year on Blood and Biscuits.
